Iggy Azalea’s New Album Title Revealed in a Twitter Chat; ‘Digital Distortion’ Promotion Starts 2016

Iggy Azalea recently shared details about her new album via a Twitter chat, according to Radio. One of the big reveals the Australian rapper made is the official name of her upcoming album.

In one of the Twitter conversations, Iggy Azalea revealed that "Digital Distortion" is going to be the title of her sophomore record. Additionally, when asked by a fan with Twitter handle @Jazalean about the possible release of the album artwork, the "Fancy" singer responded, "not for a little while."

"I am collaborating with an artist on it," she continued the tweet. Although the pictures have been shot, it's more complicated. Lol."

As for the album's promotion, Music Times reported that it will commence in 2016. The hip-hop artist also shared that there will be major performances and a tour for the album.

According to Billboard, the new album "Digital Distortion" will follow Iggy Azalea's Grammy-nominated 2014 record called "The New Classic" featuring hits like "Black Widow," "Work," "Change Your Life" and "Fancy."

Though the entire sophomore album won't be arriving until next year, fans of the rapper-songwriter have something to look forward to this October. The Billboard post reported that the first single called "Zillion" will be available at some point this month, as revealed by Iggy herself on Wednesday.

A video for the buzz track will also be released "fairly soon" so that "fans can get an understanding of what her new album is going to sound and look like," the rapper also posted on her official Twitter account.

As for the theme of Iggy Azalea's new album, she said via a Twitter response, "There isn't much of a theme this time. It's not like TNC where there were themes [alloted] for things."

Meanwhile, when asked about the possible collaborations for her new album, Iggy Azalea said she doesn't have any yet but will ask people soon.

Aside from fresh updates about her second album, Iggy Azalea also spilled some beans regarding her previous collaboration works. For instance, she disclosed that the she wrote a verse for "Girl Crush," a track which was scrapped from Selena Gomez' latest album called "Revival."

While waiting for Iggy Azalea's new single and album, fans can watch her perform live at the Coca-Cola Music Experience, which is scheduled to happen in Madrid on Oct. 16. More info and updates about the "Pretty Girls" singer are provided on her official website
