Floyd Mayweather Jr. mocked Manny Pacquiao in a photo posted on his Twitter account on Tuesday.

In a photo-meme that he called his "Christmas card to the world", Mayweather Jr. poked fun at Pacquiao, showing how previous negotiations for the proposed super fight went down in the past few years.

The first photo-mem shows Mayweather calling Pacquiao and offering a guaranteed purse of $40 million which was turned down by Pacquiao who asked for a 50-50 split to agree to a fight.

Mayweather turns down the counter offer and negotiations fail once again. After several negotiations went down, Pacquiao suffers setbacks in his career as he was defeated by Timothy Bradley and was knocked out cold by Juan Manuel Marquez in their fourth showdown in December last year.

Pacquiao's knockout loss was shown on the lower part of the photo collage together with a picture of Pacquiao praying and a caption stating "please have Floyd call me again".

The photo posted by Mayweather earned the ire of Pacquiao fans, particularly in the Philippines with most of them saying that Mayweather should stop talking and just agree to face Pacquiao.

Pacquiao on the other hand was also asked for comments on Mayweather's latest tirade against him, but the eight-division champion refuses to make a comment, saying that he will not step down to Mayweather's level. The 35-year-old Filipino said that he is busy doing charity events for his countrymen.

"I'm thanking Floyd Mayweather that he has not forgotten me. I'm glad that he is still thinking of me," Pacquiao said in an interview with the Philippine Daily Inquirer. "Christmas reminds us of God's greatest love for us. He teaches us to love even our enemies. So, I won't say anything that would hurt anybody."

The Pacquiao vs Mayweather showdown is expected to break all boxing records, but Mayweather has been very vocal about his unwillingness to face Pacquiao. The undefeated American will make his return to the ring on May 3rd, but has yet to pick an opponent from his list, which includes Amir Khan and Marcos Maidana.
