Lionsgate has decided to change the titles of the two last movies of the "Divergent" franchise based on Veronica Roth's post-apocalyptic book series.

MTV has exclusively revealed the logos and titles of the last two movies in the franchise and it was not what many expected.

According to the outlet, Lionsgate has released the titles and logos of the flicks to them which would now be called "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" and "The Divergent Series: Ascendant."

This news left fans of the original story wondering whether or not the film would still end the way it did in the book considering that the last two films are supposed to be based on Roth's last book, "Allegiant."

This serves as a warning for those who have yet to see the films and read the books because possible spoilers are coming.

In the "Insurgent" shown over the silver screen, Tris, Shailene Woodley's character and Four (Theo James) have succeeded in opening the "Cube" that exposed how the entire faction system they lived in had been part of an experiment.

After learning that they, the Divergents or the people who 'possess multiple distinct personality qualities' have succeeded in proving that they are already 'worthy' of joining the rest of the world, the couple is now faced with the new adventure of joining the rest of the world.

This is where the next book, "Allegiant," begins.

In "Allegiant," Tris and Four are placed with the task of exploring post-apocalyptic Chicago-or at least, what is left of it.

The rest would soon be revealed as the upcoming film "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" hits the theaters on March 18, 2016.

The new title and logo comes with a catch phrase "Break the Boundaries of Your World," appropriate words for the film as it begins with Four and Tris heading out into the rest of the world.

Following it would be the concluding film "The Divergent Series: Ascendant" due for release on March 24, 2017.

Notably, the last film is what fans of the book are excited (or worried) about considering that the title change may mean a slight change in the ending is coming.

And with the inclusion of the catch-phrase "The End Is Never What You Expect," fans of Roth's books are sure to get their minds boggled.

Take a peek at the logo of "Allegiant" and "Ascendant" here.

While many things are now unsure with this franchise, one thing is solid: the upcoming flicks are expected to hit the top of the box office the same way its prequels did as cited by Variety.
