It’s never too early to start planning for festival season. Although the cold months still cling to our bones, the thought of free expression, hot sun and endless nights is inescapable. It warms our souls as frigid nights descend upon us. Luckily it’s also that time of year where festival lineups start taking form. They still may be months away, the but the excitement starts now.

Although Glastonbury, England’s largest annual festival, has announced the bulk of its lineup, new names continue to trickle in. The latest name to hop on the bill is Arcade Fire. Yesterday, the band posted a photo on Twitter revealing several tour dates, one of them being a stop at Glastonbury.

Later in the day, Emily Eavis, co-organizer of the Glastonbury Festival, tweeted that they will be headlining this year’s event. Following the major success of their latest album, “Reflektor,” the news comes as no surprise at all.
