Latino music is set to be given more exposure this month as Music Choice celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with 50 percent more Latino content for an entire month.

According to PR Web, the biggest cross-platform network on TV that provides audio and video offerings is set to add more music and videos from Latino artists like Thalia, J. Balvin, Becky G. and many others.

In fact, the show is set to add this music to their jam-packed line of programs and offerings including Music Channels, Music Choice On Demand and Music Choice App.

More Latino music from the network would be featured in the Tropicales, Musica Urbana, and Pop Latino with the additional highlights of the Artist of the Month: Prince Royce.

Award-winning music from Prince Royce would be shown beginning September 14 and would continue to air until September 28.

Aside from that, the network would also be featuring the Venezuelan Pop Duo Chino Y Nacho in the MC original show "Behind the Lines."

The show, according to the outlet, showcases how artists began in the industry, how far they have come and what inspired them to reach where they are now.

Music from Romeo Santos, éxitos de Maná, Larry Hernandez and J Balvin would also be accessible via the network's Music Choice App throughout the month.

MC's celebration of the Hispanic Heritage Month also involves the annual "People en Español Festival" that would be held at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City this coming October 17 and 18 as a result of the network's partnership with People Magazine.

Check out what's in store for this month-long in this 30-second teaser from the network.

According to its official website, the Hispanic Heritage Month 2015 is set to begin on September 15 and would end by October 15.

Initially, Hispanic heritage was commemorated for one week back in 1968 and was later expanded by the late U.S. President Ronald Reagan in 1988 to cover a 30-day period.

This celebration was created to commemorate the rich culture, history, and contributions of Americans whose ancestors hailed from the Latino community in Mexico, Spain, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

September 15 was chosen as the beginning of the event was significant in Latin American history because it is said to be the anniversary of independence of Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua while Mexico and Chile gained their independence on September 16 and 18, respectively.
