He had high hopes of making the Philadelphia Eagles roster as one of its quarterbacks, but Tim Tebow failed to make the cut.

Despite this, Tebow was still thankful to the team who provided him another shot at the NFL.

In his Twitter account, the quarterback expressed his gratitude to the team.

"Thanks @Eagles and Coach Kelly for giving me the opportunity to play the game I love! Romans 8:28 #Blessed," his tweet read.

According to CBS Sports, Eagles coach Chip Kelly "held on to Tebow as long as they could" until Saturday when they determined that he is not fit for the position on the team.

"Tim's really progressed, but we didn't feel like he was good enough to be the three right now. He just needs to get out there and get more reps," Kelly said in the CBS Sports report.

But the quarterback did not seem too affected with the outcome of his stint with the Eagles as he tweeted a very positive Bible verse which means "God works for the good of those who love him."

ESPN reported that the Eagles has decided to start their season with mobile Stephen Morris, who took Tebow's supposed position on the team.

Morris has reportedly started 25 games during his junior and senior seasons at Miami and was able to throw more than 3,000 yards per year.

"After his senior year, Morris ran the 40-yard dash in 4.63 seconds at the NFL scouting combine. That won him $10,000 because he was wearing Adidas shoes," added ESPN.

Now that the team seemed to have found what they were looking for in Morris, what awaits Tebow?

Fan Sided said he could be a quarterback for another NFL team, but this could still not be attainable considering that the Eagles did not find him ready enough for the position.

It also said that Tebow could also work as a tight end or in any other positions just not as a quarterback. There were reportedly plans to change his position, but these never materialized.

Another suggestion of Fan Sided is for him to play for the Canadian Football League then try the NFL again after a few years.

Or he could just return to the SEC Network as a football analyst and commentator.

"In addition to looking the part, he does know a little bit about football, which made his time on SEC Nation fairly successful," noted Fan Sided.

A lot of fans got disappointed after Tebow got cut by the Eagles and all of them are now awaiting to know what his next plans are for his football career.
