Houston Rockets point guard Jeremy Lin might find himself playing for another team before the midseason trade deadline, a reliable league insider disclosed on Wednesday.

ESPN Radio analyst Alan Hahn really believed that Lin is not even close to being untouchable from trade talks. In fact, he's certain the Rockets would have no second thoughts about trading the former Harvard standout if the offer would be just right.

"And I know this is blasphemy, but I'm telling you right now: Jeremy Lin could also be on his way out of Houston. If they can find a taker for him and that contract ... like I said from what I heard, I've talked to some GM's from around the league, there is a strong feeling that if the Rockets can find a taker, they will definitely move Jeremy Lin, that's for sure," Hahn said during his show on ESPN Radio via SB Nation.

Jeremy Lin To Chicago Bulls

Desperately needing a reliable point guard to steer the ship after another season-ending injury to Derrick Rose, the Chicago Bulls might go after Lin in a three-way trade.

In an article by Yahoo Sports contributor Matthew Smith, one scenario suggested a three-team deal involving the Rockets, Bulls and Atlanta Hawks. Omer Asik, who has been on the trading block for the last four weeks, could also be shipped in this unique trade scenario.

"In this aggressive scenario, the Bulls receive Jeremy Lin, Elton Brand and DeMarre Carroll, the Hawks end up with Omer Asik, and the Rockets acquire Luol Deng and a conditional first-round pick from Bulls Here is how the trade -- which couldn't be completed until after the December trade restrictions have passed -- would impact each team,"  Smith stated on his article.

Lin, who was averaging 18 points and 6 assists per game before he went down with a sprained knee, would give the Bulls a point guard capable of carrying the scoring load and distributing the ball efficiently. Though Lin's defense remains his weakest part of his game, this won't hurt the team at all because the Bulls are known for their impeccable team defense.
