Brazilian fighter Bethe Correia does not seem to be over her 34-second loss to UFC female bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey earlier this month, and has challenged "Rowdy" to a rematch.

Yahoo Sports said that, in her new challenge to Rousey, Correia was responding to the statements made by the UFC champ's mentor Gene LeBell.

LeBell earlier claimed that Rousey was not happy with only beating Correia after a short span of time since she planned of really hurting her.

"She wanted to beat this gal up, and she said, 'I wasn't through, I wanted to break something, an arm or a leg or neck.' But John McCarthy broke it up because she was unconscious," LeBell said.

In a photo posted on her Instagram account, Correia responded to LeBell's statement with the challenge of having a rematch with Rowdy.

"I was extremely criticized and judged by lack of respect due to a bad interpretation of the current champ," Correia explained in her social media post.

"All that time I saw the real face of the current champ trying to pose as a saint while she always said publicly that she wanted to make me 'have a meeting with Jesus,' which was her true intention."

She added that she was not given enough media coverage and added that she never wanted to fight anyone with an intention to hurt or kill that person.

"I wouldn't joke about it, because wanting to kill someone is not caring about the pain their family would feel! So I tell her, I'm here and I'll fight for a rematch in 2016, stronger, more mature, we'll see each other again. I wanted to fight you and I got it. I'll get that chance again and I'll have my revenge at the right time!" Correia added.

Prior to her match with Correia last Aug. 1 in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, Rousey promised that she would take time to "demolish" her opponent and inflict as much pain to her.

"If I beat you quickly, that's me at my nicest and most merciful. That means you get to go home unscathed with a paycheck. If I make the fight last longer, that means I don't like you and I want you to go home looking different than the way you walked in ... and I don't like this chick," Rousey said according to TMZ.

This came after Correia brought up the suicide of Rowdy's father in one of her interviews.

"I will give her a rematch if she doesn't cry too much. She can't take the pressure. I will give her the chance to get the belt back. Please, don't kill yourself, don't commit suicide, because I will give you the rematch," Correia told Bloody Elbow.

Responding through her Twitter account, Rousey said suicide should never be used as a "joke or selling point."

"My father will be with me the day I hand you the comeuppance you deserve," she added.
