"It seems that Samsung and Qualcomm may not have fully divorced yet," the report said. "And, just like we've seen with the top-shelf Galaxy devices before, the S7 may have an Exynos variant and a Snapdragon variant,"

Phone Arena emphasized that these are just speculations and the company has yet to release any official announcement.

According to UberGizmo, two Galaxy S7 variants (S7 and S7 Edge) are expected with one being powered by an Exynos chipset and the other by Qualcomm by next year.

"Samsung is said to be testing both models so it is possible that maybe at the end of the day, Samsung will end up choosing just one," UberGizmo said.

Expected to arrive next year, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will reportedly come with a 5.5-inch 4K Super AMOLED display, accordint to TechTimes.

The high-end device will also reportedly be equipped with a 5G network for faster browsing and better phone performance.

The Galaxy S7 is rumored to have a 30MP rear camera and 10MP front camera.

"It will also have a new camera feature dubbed 'gigapixel' that will allow the user to capture images with more accuracy and clarity," TechTimes reported.

The new Galaxy S7 will also reportedly feature an 'infrared sensor' that can accurately measure body temperatures of its users.

Tthe device is expected to have different price ranges than its predecessor. The upcoming 32GB variant of the Galaxy S6 is projected to cost around $999.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S7 Edge will come with curved displays when it becomes available by next year according to ValueWalk.

"Samsung's desire to produce a flexible OLED display as soon as possible will result in this technology also featuring prominently in the forthcoming Galaxy Note 5," said the ValueWalk report.
