The Samsung Galaxy Note 5, which is anticipated to be released by August or September this year, will reportedly run in two operating systems.

According to AutooMobile, the device is claimed to have a special version with the Windows Phone 10, since the latter is making a great name along with Microsoft's Windows 10 operating system.

"Word on the street is that we may see a few Samsung Windows Phone 10 devices in the near future and while there will be a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 running the latest Android build, if Windows 10 needs to be picked up in a big way there is no doubt there will be a phablet with top end hardware offered by Samsung for the new OS," reported AutooMobile.

They noted that there is still no confirmation if the Note 5 will be the perfect fit for the Windows Phone 10 since it sees great competition in Nokia phones.S

From the features of the new device, the Note 5 is a promising phablet from Samsung now being looked forward to by many Android fans.

Day Herald said that recent online leaks of the handset suggest that it could look similar to the S6 and S6 Edge but with two cut-outs located on the bottom of the cases believed to house the S Pen.

According to a similar PhoneArena report, leaked photos of the case also showed the Note 5 housed in what seemed to be a "rugged" case with some modifications as compared to previous releases.

It noted that the device could also come with "a volcano-shaped camera unit at the back, similar with the one on the Galaxy S6/S6 edge."

TechoBuffalo reported that the flash module of the phone is situated on the right side of the rear camera, not below it.

Softpedia noticed in the case renders that the 3.5 mm audio jack port is now located on the upper edge of the device.

With its much anticipated release, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is claimed to have either a 2K or a 4K Super AMOLED flat display, but there is still a possibility that the company could switch to an OLED display, according to ValueWalk.

The phablet is expected to come in 3 variants - 16GB, 32GB and 64GB - with expandable storage of up to 128GB. It is also said to have an octa-core processor at 2.9Ghz with a 64-bit architecture for the Exynos variant and a quad-core Snapdragon 808 variant.

For its design, the phone will reportedly have aluminium-finished edges with an all-metallic curved body. It will be, not only dust and scratch resistant but also, water-resistant. A finger print sensor and retina scanner are also expected to be included in the long list of features of the device, as well as the Knox Security mode and a heart rate sensor.

With these features in place, the device is estimated to cost around $1,000.
