The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Plus are two of the most anticipated handsets that are going to be available soon in the market.

Before their big release, fans should know what should be expected from both devices to be well versed of its specifications.

Below is the comparison of the two upcoming phones from Samsung:

Display

SlashGear said that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will have a Super AMOLED 1440x2560 display, but it noted that it is still undecided if they will come with 2K or 4K displays.

"Given Samsung's aim to continue working with Oculus on releases of the GearVR, we'll expect the display to be upgraded beyond the 2K we have listed here," added the same report.

Meanwhile, Galaxy S6 Plus is believed to come with a 5.5" Super AMOLED display, as per GSM Arena.

Design

As noted by PhoneArena, photos published online showed that the claimed Galaxy Note 5 is housed in what seemed to be a "rugged" case with some modifications compared to previous releases.

With this case render, it appears that the upcoming device could have the same external features as the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.

The S6 Plus, on the other hand, is believed to be similar to the Galaxy S6 in terms of design but with a larger screen.

Processor and Memory

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is rumored to come in 3 variants which would be different based on their internal storage capacity: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. All of which have expandable storage capacity of up to 128GB. It is also said to have an octa-core processor at 2.9Ghz with a 64 bit architecture for the Exynos variant and a quad-core Snapdragon 808 variant.

Christian Post noted that the Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus will have 3GB of RAM with 32GB of built-in memory and will run on a Snapdragon 808 Qualcomm chipset.

Price

According to KnowYourMobile, the Note 5 is expected to cost more than previous installments once it becomes available in the market because of its features and specifications. Analysts are expecting for it to be valued at $1,000 though pricing is also expected to go down a few months after.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus, according to PC Advisor, still has no definite price but it noted that the handset could be pegged around $1,080.

Other features

The Note 5 will also reportedly come with aluminium-finished edges with an all-metallic curved body. It will not only be dust and scratch resistant but also water-resistant. Finger print sensor and retina scanner are also expected to be included in the long list of features of the device which could also include Knox Security mode and a heart rate sensor.

Meanwhile, the S6 Plus may have an S Pen stylus which is normally found on the Note series though this is still being debated online, as per PC Advisor.
