Viewers criticized an Egyptian TV show after reality star Paris Hilton was subjected to a nasty prank involving the fake crashing of a private plane. The viewers are saying that the TV show definitely went too far with the joke, despite most prank shows pushing limits in recent years.

The hotel heiress was visibly freaking out during the prank, reports E!.

The 34-year-old star and heir to the Hilton franchise was invited to Dubai to grace the open of a new luxury hotel. At the said event, Hilton was led to a private plane that was arranged for her 15-minute aerial tour of the rich city.

As the video shows, what followed is not something pleasing to Hilton's eyes, but a traumatizing experience capitalizing on one of the worst fears of modern passengers - a plane crash.

According to Huffington Post, the plane used was a stunt plane. Everybody on board was in on the prank except for Hilton. The plane took sudden nosedives and sharp turns and all the on-board alarms went off, as Hilton and her fellow "passengers" scream in panic.
Hilton's blood-curdling screams can be heard in the video, as she firmly grasps her seat's rests in utter terror.

Even before the plane took off, Hilton already mentioned that she was not at ease with the idea of the tour. During the prank, everybody was theatrically shrieking while Hilton, save for a few moments of intense panic, was visibly calmer relative to the others. She was shouting, "Where's the pilot?" and "Why can't we land," but no one supplied her with answers.

At one point in the prank, the plane's side door was opened and two passengers jumped out. At that point, Hilton screamed "Oh my god! I don't want to jump, I don't want to jump! I am not jumping!"

After a few moments, the plane lands safely on an airstrip and Hilton exits the plane shaken. The host, Egyptian actor Ramez Galal, revealed the prank, which did not register with Hilton right away. When it finally did, Hilton is seen flashing tentative smiles, trying to collect her composure.

The star commented on the prank saying, "Dude, this is taking it to another level. I have seen Punk'd, but you guys put me in a plane and almost killed me."
