After bringing him to work out for the team in March, the Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly signing quarterback Tim Tebow on Monday.

Yahoo Sports learned that the contract is ready for the NFL player to sign as Monday also marks the beginning of the team's offseason program.

It added that the team's process of acquiring their quarterbacks like Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez and Matt Berkley has been a mystery. Now, the team is reportedly looking for a fourth quarterback in their offseason program and Tebow could just be the man that they are looking for.

According to Yahoo Sports, Tebow will ink a one-year contract with the Eagles. He currently works as an analyst for the SEC Network but it is stated in his contract that he can still pursue his NFL plans.

A similar Fox Sports report said that the Eagles are eager to get Tebow on the team after they saw his improvement when he worked with coach Tom House.

Eagles coach Chip Kelly admitted that he is a fan of Tebow when they brought him in for practice last March.

"We bring in a lot of players for private workouts, it's just he's the one that everyone keeps talking about. We brought in Terrelle Pryor for a workout and Thad Lewis in for a workout. When players are available for you to work them out, it's the same thing of going to the veteran combine or going to the super regional combine," Kelly said as quoted by Fox Sports.

He added that inviting players for a workout helps them to get exposure and it also aids the team's decision-making.

Fox Sports added that Tebow's last game in the NFL was in 2012, when he was still with the New York Jets. In 2013, he was released by the New England Patriots prior to the start of the season.

According to Yahoo Sports, Tebow mainly served as a "decoy and personal protector" during his stay with the Jets but now, he has worked hard to earn a spot with the Eagles.

Despite his absence from the NFL, Fox Sports said Tebow remains to be one of the most popular players in the sport and he has a strong fanbase because of his Christian beliefs. He was a Heisman Trophy winner who led Florida to get two national titles prior to him being picked by Denver in 2010 during the first round of the draft.

"He started 16 games during two seasons with the Broncos, including a playoff victory over Pittsburgh in January 2012. Tebow was traded to the Jets after Denver signed Peyton Manning," Fox Sports added.

The main concern with Tebow has to do with his "inaccurate passing and lack of pocket presence," Fox Sports noted.
