AMC's hit Zombie series, "The Walking Dead" just wrapped up its fifth season, so obviously, fans are already sniffing for season 6 updates.

According to Den of Geek, there is no official word as to when it will air, but if tradition is to be followed, it should be at the weekend of the New York Comic Con, which is in the fall. With consistent positive ratings, it is no wonder that the series was renewed for its sixth roll even before AMC aired its fifth season last October.

While we wait for news, here are some of the things we could expect come season 6:

1) Jon Hamm could enter the series as Negan, a baddie in the Comic Books and killer to one of the members of Rick's gang. A report from Movie Pilot claims that another star was set to take the role - "Twilight" actor Robert Pattinson, however, this was later revealed to be an April Fool's joke, and a good one at that.

2) Norman Reedus (who plays Rick's right-hand-man Daryl Dixon) will be leaving the series by the end of season 6. According to The Hidden Remote, a source noted that while Negan is supposed to kill Glenn in the comic books, the show calls for the death of Daryl instead. This is also due to the fact that Reedus wants to move on to other projects, though he loved his time in the series. But that's another April Fool's Joke and no, Reedus is not leaving (so far).

3) TWD showrunner Scott Gimple assures fans that the show is up for another reinvention and in a message after the season 5 finale, he assured fans, "we're currently putting into motion some of our most ambitious stuff yet, and things are going to get very big, loud, and scary."

4) Morgan is back for season 6 as a renewed soul, now believing that life is precious and with the events in the season 5 finale, Entertainment Weekly believes that a rift between Morgan and Rick will rock the series' season 6.

5) The International Business Times noted that the Wolves will probably be making appearances soon, considering that there have been countless winks to them in the background, and with message graffiti all over the place.

What are you looking forward to seeing in the 6th season of "The Walking Dead"?
