"Furious 7" is about to premiere, but instead of discussing the film on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," actor Vin Diesel has already spilled a lot about the eighth film, "Fast & Furious 8," including the location which he said will be in the Big Apple.

He told Kimmel, "You know I always think of these films multiple pictures in advance. I think of them as trilogies. Kurt Russell came in for this movie, but he was really, we really hired him because of a story that follows this. That takes place in New York."

According to Cinema Blend, the "Fast & Furious" franchise managed to land majestic locations over the course of the films, including London, Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, and even Dubai, but the Southern California street racers are yet to cross the country to the East Coast, and tearing through the streets of New York would be something to look forward to.

Russell, who plays a government agent, Mr. Nobody, is pretty much a supporting character in "Furious 7," however, as Diesel noted, it will set the stage for a bigger role in the eighth film.

If Diesel is to be believed, it is likely that plans have gone beyond "Furious 8," with a ninth likely a done deal if the franchise is going to be set in trilogies. According to Screen Rant, this is an especially good piece of news for the fans, considering that many thought the death of Paul Walker will halt the popular series. However, it seems to do just the opposite with at least another one in the works, and several other storylines for future films to focus on. The entire cast and crew also made sure that they bid farewell to Walker in the film, with most accounts noting that is has been a touching and sincere tribute.

"Furious 7," which will be released in theaters on April 3, picks up on Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O' Conner (Paul Walker) and the rest of the "family" facing off with Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), the older brother of the previous film's villain, Owen Shaw (Luke Evans), as he sets out to get some revenge.

"Saw" Director James Wan helmed the film starring Diesel, Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Lucas Black, and Dwayne Johnson, along with Statham, Russell, Tony Jaa, Djimon Hounsou, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Ronda Rousey.
