A new movie poster for the upcoming action comedy film "Hot Pursuit" has been unveiled.

Actress Reese Witherspoon, one of the lead stars in the movie alongside Sofia Vergara, posted the photo on her Twitter page. Check it out below.

"Hot Pursuit," produced by Warner Bros. Pictures, New Line Cinema, and MGM, centers on "uptight and by the book cop (Witherspoon) who tries to protect the sexy and outgoing widow of a drug boss (Vergara) as they race through Texas, pursued by crooked cops and murderous gunmen," Coming Soon wrote.

Aside from the "Wild" Oscar nominee and the "Modern Family" star, "Hot Pursuit" also stars "Shutter Island" actor John Carroll Lynch, Rob Kazinsky of "Pacific Rim," and Richard T. Jones. David Feeney, John Quaintance, Dana Fox, and Katherine Silberman penned the flick's screenplay, with Anne Fletcher of "The Proposal" in the director's chair, Coming Soon added.

"Hot Pursuit" is slated for release in theaters on May 8, as seen on the movie poster.

At the Oscars 2015 nominee luncheon, Witherspoon revealed that the audience should expect some fight scenes between her and Vergara.

"Clearly one of us is tougher than the other," the 38-year-old actress told Entertainment Tonight, showing off her bruises.

"I'm not saying but I'm just saying. Maybe Joe Manganiello is teaching her some tricks," she added, referring to the Colombian bombshell's fiancé.

Witherspoon also talked to PEOPLE about how it was like shooting a film with Vergara, who is famously known for her sexy and voluptuous figure.

"Literally every person stares at [Sofia]. Men fall on the floor; women drop their purses. It's like a commercial! Her hair is in slow motion," Witherspoon gushed to the news outlet. "Her character is so sexy and suave, and I'm so dorky."

The actress, who has two kids with ex-husband Ryan Philippe named Ava, 15 and Deacon, 11, also shared that she struggled filming some scenes in the movie because she and Vergara "were laughing so hard," PEOPLE quoted her as saying.

Witherspoon is also mom to 2-year-old Tennessee with current husband Jim Toth, Daily Mail noted. The couple is reportedly scouting possible locations in Nashville for a boutique hotel. An Us Weekly source revealed that they have "met with an architect and decorator, but they haven't officially signed everything yet."

Vergara, on the other hand, is set to marry "Magic Mike XXL" star Manganiello, but the wedding has been postponed to make way for the couple's respective promotions of their upcoming films, Fox News Latino wrote. Vergara stated that "the wedding will probably be later this year" with "a lot of people" expected to be present in the ceremony.
