One of the most talked about celebrity changes in the past couple of years is Bruce Jenner's journey into being a woman. There have been reports of the former Olympian documenting his transformation into a woman via docuseries, however, it seems that the project has been put on hold.

According to TMZ, Bruce has been feeling pressured by his producers about the project as he felt like they were rushing him. He also felt that by gunning for the May air date, they were compromising his family and their lives, which has, for the most part, been very public. He reportedly wants to make sure that his sons will be able to handle the changes that he's undergoing.

People also reported that Bruce has reservations about the series. A source was quoted as saying, "Bruce's primary goal is to bring awareness to this issue in order to help others [in the transgender community. He is not sure that E! and a reality show is the best format to do that."

The source also added that Jenner "wants this to be taken seriously so that [his situation] can have the most positive impact on society's perception of the transgender community," but most of all, he has reservations about the company that he's working with.

"He wants to explore other options," says the source. "But Bunim/Murray are making him feel trapped in his contract and are not allowing him to explore other avenues to tell his story."

TMZ also reported that the car crash Jenner was involved in recently, had a very big emotional impact on him, as a woman died due to his inattentiveness. It has been reported that he wanted to deal with the situation first before proceeding with the docuseries.

There are a lot of things going on in Jenner's life, and it seems that there's still a 99.9% chance that the series will happen, but there is also the slight chance of getting the plug pulled. Whichever one he decides to go with, it seems that the project will not be airing by May.

Although the future of the docuseries is unclear, it has been noted by Deadline that ABC News is surely going to air the interview with Diane Sawyer next month. Sawyer has officially stepped down from being anchor of "World News Tonight," and concentrating on specials and interviews.

Her sit-down with Jenner would be the first real discussion of the gossip that swept Hollywood for months now, although the special has reportedly been changed as to include the recent car accident Jenner is involved in.
