MMA fighter and UFC veteran Ryan Jensen still knows the basics of fighting and he applies it to his day-to-day living, even if he's not seen in professional matches lately. The 37-year-old Jensen became a victim of theft last week but he was able to track down the two suspects.

Jensen was last seen inside the Bellator cage in April 2014 against Mark Stoddard but Yahoo Sports said he seems to be busy doing some vigilante stuff.

He was on his way home from training and coaching at the Premier Combat Center in Omaha when he saw that the trunk of his car was opened and that his wallet, his daughter's scooter and other valuables were stolen, MMA Fighting detailed. The police only wanted to note down the incident through phone, according to the report, and this did not satisfy the fighter as his garage keys were also taken. Jensen feared that the thieves might also go to their house and harm his family.

"I'm thinking, they know how to get to my house and know how to get in. If the cops aren't gonna do anything tonight, these guys will probably break in and steal my car," he told MMA Fighting.

The MMA fighter then checked surveillance footages and saw that a man and woman driving a car took his things. He also got notifications saying that his credit card was used in a Walmart store.

"When they started dinging my accounts, I was like shoot they're right up the street. They've only spent $300, they're gonna keep on going. So I said I'm gonna run up there and see what this is," Jensen said.

It ended up with him cornering the suspects inside the store where Jensen said he made a scene so that the robbers will not be able to escape. "People started video taping me. I was running through yelling, 'Hey these guys are thieves. They just stole my stuff.' I was probably like 3 or 4 feet away from them. He started sprinting off away from me."

MMA Fighting said the man, in his attempt to escape, got into Jensen's face which was clearly not a good idea.

"I said, 'Look, bro, there's two things that are gonna happen. You're gonna sit right here and wait for the cops to show or I'm gonna end up beating you or choking you unconscious and the cops are gonna get you anyway. You pick,'" Jensen recounted.

The police reportedly said that the suspects, identified as Michael Stafford and Cassandra Preiste, had allegedly stolen five cars which they kept in an apartment in Southwest Omaha. Many victims have reached out to Jensen to extend their gratitude for the capture of the thieves.

Jensen is set to fight again versus John Rosaaen at Victory Fighting Championship 44 in Omaha, according to Fight.TV.
