When you're rich, famous, and known to do some philandering in your day, you can bet that at some point down the road, a seemingly random person will call you out and say that you're their long-lost parent.

It seems that for hip-hop star Jay Z, that time has come.

According to the New York Daily News, a 21-year-old aspiring rapper, Rymir Satterthwaite, identified himself as Jay Z's possible son, explaining on YouTube that his talent feels hereditary. He explained, "It was in my blood. I really wanted to pursue my dreams. That's what I've been doing, pursuing my dreams."

He also recounted on one of his videos how he was born and raised in Philadelphia, and how he started rapping at age 8, and writing lyrics by the time he was 13. He shared, "That's when I really realized I really had a passion for rapping. I'm coming out soon, and I would really love to have your support."

This wasn't the first time Jay Z was told that Rymir is his son. In fact, the paternity fight has been going on for several years now, the first one initiated by Rymir's mother Wanda in 2010. For that lawsuit, Jay Z successfully fought off a DNA test to determine whether or not he really is the father.

The court ripped Wanda Satterthwaite considering that she only suggested Jay Z to be the father of her son after another man took a DNA test and proved that Rymir was not his, and that man has been paying child support for years.

The New Zealand Herald also noted that Rymir himself filed a suit against the star in December, accusing Jay Z of lying about his residency to get out of the DNA test and claiming that his mother had hooked up with the rapper in the early '90s, long before the man that was Shawn Carter came to be known internationally as Jay Z - and husband of superstar Beyonce.

The Source indicated that Rymir's godmother and legal guardian, Lillie Coley was the one who filed the suit in December but was dismissed after a jurisdiction issue. However, it has been reopened when they accused the rapper of giving false information - he isn't living in Manhattan, but in Jersey, where he owns real estate.

Coley also said that the family was shocked to learn that the suit has been made public, telling the New York Daily News, "Right now I can't talk to you about it. We plan to talk to the public soon."

She also added, "All this attention caught us off guard. We didn't expect someone to leak it to the press. We weren't expecting this."
