This year's Mobile World Congress could mark the entry of the best Android flagships touted to arrive in the market. For some time now, reports on the Samsung Galaxy S6, HTC One M9 and Sony Xperia Z4 have climbed the internet grapevine, and as the calendar approaches the Barcelona event, all the more we get excited to see the future of mobile.

If you still haven't heard, the handsets above are all expected to launch at the event, dated Mar. 2 - 5.

We're still weeks away from the MWC, but the surfacing of countless information every now and then prompt us to collect the latest, most interesting and loudest-echoing speculations.

See how the industry foresees the Galaxy S6, HTC One M9 and Xperia Z4 below. Who knows, the same exact specs could appear right in the actual handsets.

Samsung Galaxy S6

Samsung has already sent invites for it's "Unpacked" event, happening on Mar. 1 at the CCIB. This has been done through a mysterious graphic that tells, "What's Next."

As you may have guessed, the Galaxy S6's appearance is expected, but it may not be alone. The S-line's version of the Galaxy Note Edge, dubbed as the Galaxy S6 Edge, is also purported to launch.

A recent note cited by PCMag assumed that the Galaxy S6 will come with a 5.1-inch display. It's been said that one of the two devices is bound to remain plastic, while the other is born with a metal flourish.

GSMArena's preliminary specs included a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection, Exynos 7420 chipset, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, 20 MP main camera, 5 MP front snapper, Wi-Fi 802.11 and Bluetooth 4.0 support.

In the past, we've particularly heard that the device will come in two processor variants: one with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 and the Exynos variant you see above.

HTC One M9

Just like the Galaxy S6, the HTC One M9 is rumored to arrive in more than one version. However, it's not about the edge, but the size. Talks have it that the device will come with a larger, HTC One M9 Plus / Prime.

In the past, this flagship is said to be named "Hima," but this has been disproved -- allegedly -- recently.

From Know Your Mobile's updated article, the device is thought to pack Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810, 3 GB of RAM, Cat 6 LTE connectivity, 32 GB of storage, 20.7MP main camera, 13 MP front snapper and Sense 7.0 UI. The device is believed to sport a 5-inch screen, housing a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Sony Xperia Z4

Current reports on the Xperia Z3 successor have clashed in terms of release date. Since then, the device has been thought to come at the MWC, but AndroidPIT has recently claimed, "We learned that the Xperia Z4 would not be making an appearance at MWC 2015."

The PCAdvisor, on the other hand, stated: "We were (and still are) convinced that we will see Sony unveil the Sony Xperia Z4 at Mobile World Congress 2015."

The Xperia Z4 is touted to sport a 5.2-inch display, a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB / 42 GB storage options, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810, 20.7 MP main camera, 5 MP front snapper and microSD support (up to 128 GB).

These rumored flagships are all expected to run Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The list of purported specs and features of these devices goes on. However, at the end of the day, only Samsung, HTC and Sony can really tell.
