With the recent Super Bowl, actor Chris Evans was able to raise $11,000 for his charity from fans who wanted to help after he won a bet with fellow actor Chris Pratt in the NFL faceoff last weekend.

TMZ reported that the Star Lord and Captain America superheroes had an agreement that they will visit the other actor's charity "in costume" if their team loses the game.

Evans rooted for the New England Patriots while Pratt was gunning for the Seattle Seahawks. The Pats eventually won the game with a 28-24 victory.

The TMZ report also noted that they ended up both visiting each other's charity but Evan's charity, pediatric cancer help group Christopher's Haven, reportedly got a cash gift from fans who wanted to help Evans' advocacy.

Christopher's Haven executive director Joyce Duvall told TMZ that they received $11,000 from fans.
"The coolest thing about something like this is that all the kids win ... no matter what happened in the football game," Duvall added.

A US Magazine report said that the two handsome actors made their bet on Twitter with Evans challenging Pratt to the bet.

"@prattprattpratt them's fightin words. Stakes? #whatisaseahawkanyway #somethingtombradyhunts," Evans tweeted.

To this, Pratt immediately agreed and said "@ChrisEvans OK. Seahawks win you fly yourself to Seattle, visit @seattlechildren hospital as Captain America, waving the 12th man flag."

Evans then accepted the challenge adding that "when the Patriots humiliate your seachickens, I expect Star-Lord to arrive at @chris_haven in a Brady jersey."

But after the game, US Magazine said that the two announced and surprised their followers that they will both go to the hospitals and charity institutions they mentioned.

New York Daily News added that Pratt will have to dress up as Star Lord and also wear a Tom Brady Jersey when he visits Christopher Haven in Boston and visit children with cancer along with their families.

Last year, Evans made a notable move when he surprised 9-year-old patient Kenny Boting, who is suffering from brain tumor.

"It's their strength that gives me strength," Evans told New York Daily News.

The Captain America star is also expected to go to the Seattle Children's hospital wearing his costume though there is still no confirmation if he will also wear a Russell Wilson jersey based from the terms given by Pratts.

New York Daily News said it was surprised with the move of Evans, who, instead of boasting the Pats' victory, promised to also visit the charity chosen by Pratts.

This gesture only proves that Evans is serious with his advocacy of helping those in need especially medically ill children who need not only monetary support but also the presence and physical support of people willing to help them.
