"The Avengers: Age of Ultron" is set to come out soon, and in anticipation of its debut, Marvel Studios released a brand new trailer for the film, which hinted at more chaos and quite possibly a sneak peek at another Marvel film "Doctor Strange," International Business Times reported.

Director Joss Whedon's "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" is the sequel to Marvel's successful "The Avengers" film which came out in 2012. Pegged for a released on May 1, Marvel has been steadily increasing excitement over the sequel.

The trailer, which was released on Monday, showed The Avengers facing off against the homicidal robot Ultron and some are claiming that a hint of the Sorcerer Supreme himself, Dr. Stephen Strange, was shown around the 0:39 mark.

Fans and viewers noted surgical equipment and a hospital gurney in the trailer, which could refer to Dr. Strange and his profession as a neurosurgeon. Not only that, but a nurse was shown attending to the person on the gurney, and someone wearing white gloves was shown handling said equipment, which may indicate an appearance by the man himself.

Thin though the evidence may be, "Doctor Strange," starring Benedict Cumberbatch, is set to come out on Nov. 4, 2016, and the character's appearance in a Marvel film prior to his own has long since been rumored. Some felt that a good introduction to the character would be a tie-in appearance in another film, such as "The Avengers: Age of Ultron."

Speculations aside, there are a lot of other things to look forward to and dread in the film, such as Hulk smashing a cop's car and going up against a larger version of the Iron Man, the Hulkbuster, and Thor telling Tony Stark "You've meddled with something you don't understand," according to Sydney Morning Herald.

Ultron, voiced by James Spader, also made an appearance, bringing in a dose of villainy as he threatened to tear everyone apart from the inside. Nick Fury, played by Samuel Jackson, has also returned to join the fray, according to The Guardian.

The trailer also opened up more questions about just who else is going to appear in the film and why. Eagle-eyed fans may have seen the brief appearances of "The Hobbit" actor Andy Serkis, a woman disrobing in a cave and the twins Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, played by Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, respectively, according to Vox.

It remains to be seen just what all these new characters want with the Avengers or with Ultron, and whether or not they're friend or foe.
