While recent events seemed to be in favor of Sony, rival Microsoft happened to watch from an observing distance. Xbox head Phil Spencer took his stance to Twitter, wrote Gamespot.

"PSX was a nice event, good way for Sony to celebrate 20 years. I watched, it was well done. I feel good about 2015 for XBOX," he responded to one user who claimed not hearing a "single thing" about Xbox.

The Xbox helm likewise assured fans that next year will be a good one. "I'm very confident in our 2015 exclusives. Some have been announced, some have not. 2015 will be a good year for XBOX fans," Spencer said.
