The latest trailer in the "Terminator" franchise is set to be released on Thursday, and Arnold Schwazenegger is back to reclaim the role of T-800.

According to Screenrant, "Terminator: Genisys" is quite a mix of nostalgia and intrigue about what lies ahead, considering that something close to what may be Judgment day is happening around the globe as a new version of T-1000 arrives in action.

Bloody-Disgusting.com found some footage from "Genisys" and found it both spectacular and disappointing, mostly because of the heavy CGI-sequence that the film came with, but the aesthetics is apparently something to look forward to.

Starring "Game of Thrones" acress Emilia Clarke as the young Sarah Connor, "Terminator: Genisys" is fully packed with a great cast that included Jai Courtney (from "A Good Day to Die Hard") as Kyle Reese, and Jason Clarke (from "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" and no, he is not related to Emilia) as the grown-up John Connor. Also in the cast are JK Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi, Byung Hun Lee, and Matt Smith.

While the official trailer does not get released until Thursday, Paramount Pictures already had something to make fans anticipate the release of the latest film in the franchise, with a solid promotional material in the form of a motion poster.

Check it out:

Movie Pilot noted that the sand effect in the motion trailer mimicked an hourglass sand timer, and although it is unclear what it represents, it could possibly be both a countdown for the full-trailer release, or the significant time-jump in the movie (after all, T-800's human flesh has aged quite a lot in between films.)

While the plot of the latest installment is yet to be confirmed, it has been indicated that Genisys proposes that Sarah Connor has both been orphaned by a terminator and brought up by another in the form of Schwarzenegger's T-800, who was programmed to protect her.

Genisys is then set in 2029, as the first of three planned films that, according to Movie Pilot, Paramount is hoping will re-launch the franchise.

Shot in New Orleans and directed by Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World), the film was written as screenplay by Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier. "Terminator: Genisys" will be another spectacular film to add in the franchise, and will hit theaters on July 1. 2015.

Which are you more excited to see: Schwarzenegger's older Terminator, or Emilia Clarke outside her "Khaleesi" wardrobe and into hot leather?
