Christmas won't be the same without the hottest game titles -- and retailers must have understood that holidays meant home, recreation and fun.

Among them is Sony's PlayStation Store, which began its Holiday Sale on Dec. 2. The platform's official blog announced that prospects will no longer need to get into a physical store to search for the latest deals. Fans are assured that the Yuletide season won't be all-cold, thanks to the plethora of titles it offers for as much as 75% off (PS Plus members). Non-PS Plus members, on the other hand, get to own Holiday games with up to 65% discount.

Below is the lineup of games for the first week of December. Note that these deals run till Dec. 8. PlayStation informed that a new set of titles will be out next week.

Aside from these games, PlayStation is also selling discounted movies and TV shows in line with the season's sale. Some movie titles include "The Terminator," "Deadfall," "Centurian," "A Princess For Christmas" and "Goon." TV show titles include "Inuyasha: The Final Act" and "Naruto Shippuden Uncut."

This entertainment list is expected to grow, as PlayStation said that new titles will be offered every coming week.
